Helen Magee is a long established Wicklow artist and member of the Design and Craft Council of Ireland. Her designs are inspired by anything from the beautiful Irish countryside and local gardens in County Wicklow (known as 'The Garden of Ireland'), retro art and design principally the '60's and '70's, and from her life growing up in a home with a Mum who is a fine artist with a great eye for color and a natural flair for interior design. These 'Céad Míle Map' oven gloves are just perfect to bring a little bit of Ireland in to your home this Thanksgiving!
The Dublin Cookbook for Temple Street
This recipe book is so special for so many reasons. Not only are the proceeds destined for a really great cause (Temple Street Children's Hospital) but some of the most popular chefs in Ireland have shared really special (and until now 'secret') recipes with us. Our favorite recipes are the BQ Baby Back Ribs from TriBeCa and that really super Superfood Salad!. We would absolutely love it if you shared what you have cooked or baked with us on Instagram or even Facebook! (Make sure you get those oven gloves in the photo too!). There may very well be a surprise for the most delicious looking dish!
Maple Tree Pottery - County Wicklow
We asked Karyn to create a hanging decoration for your home this Thanksgiving that would bring the Irish kitchen right in to yours this month. The Irish are known for putting on the kettle and having a 'cupán tae' especially when visitors arrive!
