Giolla, one of 4 children, was born in the West of Ireland from a line of carpenters and craftsmen. Each piece created by Giolla is handcrafted in the family workshop under the Sliabh an Iarainn mountain in County Leitrim.
Wood and sunlight seem to go naturally together. For Giolla Liddy it means using the woodworking skills he learned as a child to create a range of beautiful moon suncatchers, iris suncatchers and ring suncatchers which throw dazzling rainbows of light all around. Set in the window to catch the light, the suncatchers, made in a range of woods and Asfour crystal shapes, create a spectrum of coloured light on the dullest of days – just beautiful….

Stephen Flynn is an artist who is based on the Dingle Peninsula. He is clearly inspired by the most beautiful coastline and countryside that surrounds him. This image is of a painting of his with the beautiful montbretia that lights up our hedgerows during the late summer months and the alluring Three Sisters gracing the background.
